The tee shot needs to carry the 5th green and should be aimed at the ridge of mounding that bisects the fairway. The second shot is played downhill over some large bunkers to a large two-tiered green. Club selection for the second shot is crucial if the pin is on the back tier. Birdie 3’s are often made on this hole.
